How Long Does It Take?

Typically, it will take 1-2 days of shop time--depending on the type of project.  In certain cases where extensive work is necessary for restoration (i.e. re-sleeving) longer in-shop time can be expected.  Call before shipping if you are concerned about turn-around time.  For projects where time is not critical, we use UPS Ground shipping.  An estimation of the time-in-transit can be seen by clicking HERE.

If you are in need of an immediate turn-around, it will be necessary to upgrade to air service for your shipment.  We have several different options and recommendations for fast turn-around depending on your location and needs.

How Should I Prepare My Calipers For Shipment?

It is rare that a disc brake caliper is damaged during shipment.  We recommend a few simple steps to minimize any problems during transport:

  1. Place each caliper in a plastic bag in order to stop any leakage that may occur.

  2. Use a sturdy corrugated cardboard box and add enough packing material (paper works best) so that the calipers don't shift.

  3. We don't recommend shipping more than 70lbs of product in any one package.

For more information on package preparation, see the UPS guidelines.
